Baptism of Jesus...

Today, I baptized Jesus Christ in the Jordan River. It was one of the most magnificant things I have ever done in my life, to lay my hands on the Messiah and give him the gift of baptism and new life. The feeling I had as I layed my hands on him was indescribable and wonder in all. I felt honored to be in Jesus's presence. At first when Jesus came to me to baptize him I didn't know what to say. I felt as I was not worthy or qualified but as I described my feeling to him he made me feel worthy and at peace to baptize him. After I baptized Jesus a dove came from Heaven and landed on him. After the dove landed on Jesus I heard God's voice and God said, "You are my beloved Son, whom I am pleased" As I heard God's voice I was completly convinced that Jesus was the Son of God. I will never forget this incredible experience.

  1. I'm so proud of you, John! I knew when Gabriel came to me that you were special; I knew the moment I got pregnant after being barren for so long that you were special! I'm also glad that you too are devoted to the Lord as much as I am, for it is the Lord that gave you to me. You never cease to impress me, young one, and I will always be proud of you!

    Love,
    Mom

  4. This makes you like an angel. I feel many people will come to you for their baptisms since you have blessed the Lord. Your story will help me develop a vivid account of Jesus' birth. I am so grateful and delighted that you went through with his request even though you were apprehensive at first.
